आज के समय में अगर आप सड़क यात्रा पर निकलते हैं तो टोल टैक्स की चिंता जरूर होती है। टोल प्लाजा पर लंबी कतारें, समय की बर्बादी और ज्यादा खर्च आम यात्रियों के लिए बड़ी समस्या बन चुकी है। ऐसे में नेशनल हाईवे अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया (NHAI) यात्रियों के लिए एक बेहतरीन सुविधा लेकर आ रही है। जल्द ही NHAI का मोबाइल एप एक नया फीचर लॉन्च करने वाला है, जिसकी मदद से यात्री अपने सफर के लिए कम टोल वाले रास्ते का चुनाव कर पाएंगे।
क्या है NHAI का नया फीचर?
NHAI का यह नया फीचर यात्रियों को उनके गंतव्य तक पहुंचने के लिए अलग-अलग रूट्स की जानकारी देगा। खास बात यह है कि इसमें प्रत्येक रूट का टोल चार्ज, दूरी और समय की जानकारी भी दी जाएगी। इससे यात्री यह तय कर पाएंगे कि वे कम टोल देकर ज्यादा किफायती यात्रा करना चाहते हैं या तेज रूट लेकर थोड़ा ज्यादा खर्च करना।
कब लॉन्च होगा यह फीचर?
मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स और NHAI सूत्रों के अनुसार, यह नया फीचर अगले महीने की शुरुआत में, यानी जुलाई 2025 के पहले सप्ताह में लॉन्च किया जा सकता है। इसे पहले चरण में चुनिंदा राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों पर लागू किया जाएगा और धीरे-धीरे पूरे देश में विस्तार दिया जाएगा।
कैसे करेगा काम?
(1) यूजर को NHAI का ‘FASTag App’ या ‘NHAI One App’ डाउनलोड करना होगा।
(2) ऐप में ‘रूट सेलेक्शन’ नाम का नया विकल्प दिखाई देगा।
(3) इसमें यूजर अपने यात्रा का स्टार्टिंग प्वाइंट और डेस्टिनेशन डालेंगे।
(4) इसके बाद ऐप उन्हें कई रूट्स दिखाएगा।
(5) प्रत्येक रूट के साथ यह जानकारी दी जाएगी:
(6) टोल चार्ज कितना लगेगा।
(7) कुल दूरी कितनी है।
(8) अनुमानित यात्रा का समय कितना होगा।
(9) यूजर अपनी प्राथमिकता के आधार पर रूट सेलेक्ट कर सकता है – चाहे वह कम टोल हो, कम समय लगे या दूरी कम हो।
यात्रियों को क्या मिलेगा फायदा?
(1) पैसे की बचत: कम टोल वाले रूट से यात्रा कर पैसे बचाए जा सकते हैं।
(2) समय की बचत: अगर कोई टोल प्लाजा पर लंबी कतार है तो ऐप पहले से ही वैकल्पिक रूट बता देगा।
(3) यात्री की आजादी: अब यात्रियों को मजबूरी में एक ही रूट पकड़ने की जरूरत नहीं होगी।
(4) पारदर्शिता: टोल प्लाजा पर कितने पैसे कटेंगे इसकी पूरी जानकारी पहले से होगी।

(1) डेली कम्यूटर (जो रोज ऑफिस या बिजनेस के लिए यात्रा करते हैं)।
(2) ट्रक और कमर्शियल वाहन चालक।
(3) टूरिस्ट और लॉन्ग ड्राइव पर जाने वाले लोग।
(4) कैब और टैक्सी ऑपरेटर।
• सरकार का क्या है उद्देश्य?
NHAI का उद्देश्य इस फीचर के जरिए न केवल यात्रियों को सुविधा देना है बल्कि राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों पर ट्रैफिक को बेहतर तरीके से मैनेज करना भी है। इससे ट्रैफिक का बोझ एक ही रूट पर नहीं होगा और लोग समान रूप से अलग-अलग रूट्स का उपयोग करेंगे। इससे प्रदूषण भी कम होगा और ईंधन की बचत भी होगी।
